2813 Kenyon Cir Boulder Showing of the day

Gorgeous Boulder Remodel

Had the opportunity to show an outstanding home today. 2813 Kenyon Cir in Boulder CO is an outstanding example of remodeling a Sixties home into a contemporary domicile. Home is listed by Bill Allen Re/Max of Boulder.

Even before my clients and I walked in the door, we were impressed by the timely updating. Rather than the same old-same old painted wood garage doors, we appreciated the stylish cedar garage and front doors. Plus, the driveway was widened with a walkway of flagstones. So space to get in & out of the car without feeling crowded.

Mountain loving home buyers will also appreciate the stellar street view of the Flatirons. Just wait to you check out the view from the deck.

Energy Friendly Features

Behind all the pretty finishes – of which 2813 Kenyon boasts quite a few – you will find smart energy operations. The home has a southern exposure – lots of light and easier to maintain driveway in the winter. The newer furnace is high efficiency so far less waste of fuel.

And there is an owned solar photovoltaic system. Renewable Energy World says “the process of converting light (photons) to electricity (voltage) is called the photovoltaic (PV).”

My Top Features 2813 Kenyon Cir

  1. There is a fantastic deck off the master bedroom.  Both the bedroom and deck offer fabulous lifetime views of the Flatirons.   I’m 90% certain this area was added in a previous renovation of the house.
  2. All the bathrooms are to die for.  Beautiful use of tile, glass, sliding doors and ample lighting create wonderful spa like spaces.   The master bath had a big window with a view too boot.
  3. The soap stone countertop in the kitchen is simply gorgeous.

Check out the house for yourself.  Here is a link to this sharp serendipitous Contemporary gem!  Interested in a private showing? Give me a shout!

Great Lunch Spot

I tried a new hot spot – Flower Child – for lunch today.  Wow.  This place is over top for those seeking veggies and salads.  In the same category as Fresh Thymes although a tad more affordable.   Things I loved about this spot.  Outside there is a cool mural quoting one of the greatest authors ever.  And there is a, well, it almost feels like a free lemonade stand. Except for adults.  And its water, not sugary drink.

This is a fast casual spot, so you order at the counter and your food is brought out to you in short order.

Also Worth Mentioning

Clients viewed 931 Teller Circle, priced at $794,500 and listed for sale by Gail Mock, Mock Realty.   This home is classic.  Bathrooms are pink.  The basement has real old school dark paneling.  Neighbors to either side have the feeling of having been rentals, but one is being fixed up.

The best feature of this home was the yard.  Just totally inviting with beautiful flowers, a big gardening area and shed and plenty of shady spots to relax outdoors.
