Date Night
Fun evening out with my wife. Date Night. We had dinner out last night in Louisville. The town was humming. To be honest, I’ve never seen anything like it. Julie and I agreed, this wasn’t the same quiet little town of Louisville from ten years ago. Louisville is all grown up and the place to be these days. And still, downtown has no traffic lights, just a handful of four-way stops.
Money Magazine Agrees
Check out the latest issue of Money. Louisville is ranked the second best place to live in the USA. No surprise, as the town is a super place to raise a family. Great schools, wonderful open space, solid amenities like the library, Rec Center and top notch fire/police departments. BTW, the photo in the article? That is Sweet Cow Ice Cream, for which I just published a blog/review a few days ago. The article points out the town offers a well educated population, excellent median wage, plenty of employment opportunities and a rebounding real estate market.
Places we enjoy in Louisville
Super easy to suggest dining and coffee shops in downtown. Last night in Louisville we dined at Zucca. We have enjoyed breakfast at Huckleberry, tried several great coffee shops, been to the Farmer’s Market, ordered Chinese at Double Happy and celebrated birthdays at The Melting Pot. Downtown is a mix of old and new. Check out the museum for a stroll down memory lane or catch a band in the beer garden on a weekend evening. There is something for everyone in Louisville Colorado!!
