One of the things you hear around town? Boulder has a healthy lifestyle. The city keeps taking first or second place for healthiest city in America.  For good reason.  Check out a B-Cycle bike on your lunch hour for some exercise.   Or, get your errands done; you can ride from one location to another.  B-Cycle mixes really well with RTD and public transportation.

With so many stations scattered about Boulder, the system is awesome for sightseeing, exercise, running errands, commuting or just enjoying a beautiful day on a bicycle.

Maintenance of B-Cycle Bikes

B-Cycle bikes are maintained on a regular basis. And the powers that be make certain there will be bikes at every station, throughout the day, to meet demand.   If you get a flat, simply return your bike to the nearest kiosk.

In Boulder, B-Cycle offers daily, weekly and annual memberships.  Provided you never ride longer than 30 minutes, there are no additional fees.   Now, B-Cycle is hip to the idea you may want to ride a bit longer. So as long as you briefly dock your bike (it will “ding” on the kiosk) you can keep riding. Just be sure to check into a station every 30 minutes.  The kiosks have maps and info with where additional locations are.

There is also – for long term members – the ability to track your usage on a webpage.  B-Cycle is a great way to get healthy, burn up some unneeded Carbs and enjoy a bike ride about Boulder.
