America’s Best Places to Live in 2012 ranked Boulder Colorado 60 out of 100 top places.  I suppose being in the top ten is more prestigious, but also more expensive. Boulder Colorado is a great place to call home.  The city features: top notch education, a diverse workforce, cutting edge technology and a healthy/fit population.  No wonder we are ranked as one of the best places to live!

USA Today Boulder

On August 23rd, Jefferson Graham wrote a piece on the Top Ten cities for technology start-ups.  With little surprise, Boulder is listed as the # 9 City!  Boulder Colorado shares an important distinction with Austin, Texas – the two are small cities. Most of the spots on the top ten list are dominated by metro areas such as San Francisco, NYC, Chicago.  Though Boulder is small – sometimes considered a college town – it is big in the eyes of tech and venture capitalists.

AARP Boulder

There must have been something in the water on August 23rd, because Kelsy Chauvin with Frommer’s Travel and writing for the AARP stated Boulder Colorado is one of the five happiest cities in the United States.  Boulder is filled with brainy laid back folks according to her article. Be sure to check it out.

Looking for a great place to vacation? Boulder Colorado is ranked in the top twenty destinations for a summer vacation.   Cool mountain air combined with festivals, a top notch philharmonic orchestra and wonderful Shakespeare summer festival – outdoors to be sure – make for a wonderful destination.  And why not add tubing down the Boulder Creek for the truly adventurous.
