Boulder Country Club Greens Condos
Enjoy Boulder Colorado at its best! The Country Club Greens condos community is a great place to call home.
You’ll find a handful of units on hot water boiler heat in the A-B-C buildings, while the majority of condos offer gas forced air (Buildings D through M). Don’t worry too much about that boiler heat. Many of the A-B-C units also feature central Air Conditioning to stay cool in the summer.
Since I first wrote this post, Country Club Greens condos has really rebounded in value. Owners continue to see new sales taking place that are seeing values going up, up, up.
This great community is nestled just blocks from Boulder Country Club and many units feature wonderful views of the Boulder Flatirons.

Layouts and Features

Country Club Greens condos offers a number of different floor plans. The A, B and C buildings have some of the best condo views in all of Boulder.
Vaulted spaces, looking over an expansive green park with the Rocky Mountains and Colorado Flatirons in the distance. Can you imagine it?
There are one to three bedroom layouts, many with an attached garage. Some of these condos have two levels and on occasion a sunken living room area.
All three of the A-B-C buildings feature (gas) hot water heat from a central boiler.

The other buildings in the community predominantly feature two bedroom condos with three different layouts. Though the layouts vary, all have 2 bedrooms.
Buildings D through M are located around a centrally located swimming pool, club house and workout facility. The layouts all include two bedrooms and two bathrooms.
There are attached and detached garages as well as carports. Some units do not have any assigned parking. Many condos in Country Club Greens are now featuring stainless steel appliances, updated kitchens and newer floor coverings.
Everyone loves the super sized one-of-a-kind oval soaking tubs that were installed by the original builder.
Fast Fact: Country Club Greens Condos started out as an apartment complex. As it was converted to attached dwellings, home buyers could opt for covered parking. So some units have both a garage and a carport!
Community Features at Country Club Greens Condos

The community facilities are very well maintained by the Home Owner’s Association, which at one point was managed by Mock Property Management.
There is a swimming pool, outdoor hot tub, park area with grills, a large furnished club house complete with mini-kitchen available for parties and events and a workout area with weights and cardio machines.
Country Club Greens was constructed in 1989 as an apartment complex and then converted in the nineties to a condominium complex. This is actually a fairly common way new attached dwelling housing is created in Boulder – through conversion projects.
2020 Sees Boom In Apartments Versus Condos
In fact, since the Great Recession and through 2020, we have seen a huge number of luxury apartment complexes come to the greater community while very few condominiums are being built.
And yet, there is a high demand for new homes of all shapes and sizes.
So why the lack of condo construction? Part of it has to do with a construction rule that came into effect following the area’s recovery from the Great Recession. The rule was designed to protect home owners from shoddy construction.
But in practice what it did was discourage attached homes and incentivize apartments. And, just to be ready for the opportunity to go condo in seven years once the rule expires, many of these apartment complexes were conveniently designed with individual gas meters for every dwelling.
The community helps support an extensive trail system throughout the greater community – be sure to check out the trails for a relaxing walk. There are several Boulder County Open Spaces within a short distance of this great condo community and easy access via the Regional Transportation District (RTD) bus services on 75th Street.


Students attend Boulder Valley School District schools and have the choice of attending Boulder High School or Fairview High School.
Heatherwood Elementary school is located just a short drive around the corner from the community.
Also not too far away is Munson Family Farm – a local Boulder favorite for fresh corn and vegetables all season long. Walden Ponds – a wonderful natural wildlife habitat/park – is a bike ride away to the south. Enjoy easy five minute access to shopping and services.
I Love Swimming Pools
Looking to dive into your new home’s swimming pool? One of the best features at this condo complex is the wonderful swimming pool and hot tub. It’s really inviting, fenced and private solely for residents.
Why I Love Country Club Greens condos
Golf. If you enjoy playing golf, tennis, or swimming you are walking distance to the Boulder Country Club. Sure, the complex has its own swimming pool, a very nice, if modest place to relax. But the BCC offers so much more.
Why not join the club and enjoy all the social benefits plus have access to world class sports programming. Then you have the best of all worlds. An affordable home to ride out the next Coronavirus self isolation and a quick walk to one of the best facilities in all of Boulder County.

Trails. There are two sets of trails to take into consideration when talking about the Country Club Greens condos. Across the street from the grounds is a really lovely trail.
Its sort of a one-of-a-kind set up. It winds its away among ponds and parks. Very quiet and private. The HOA for CCG pays into this park each and every month. As a result, it is very nicely maintained. I highly suggest checking it out. Definitely one of Boulder’s best kept secrets.
The other sort of trail is also nearby. There is easy access just across 75th street onto Boulder open space trails. These criss cross all of Boulder offering miles of walking, jogging, cycling routes. Dogs are allowed on many of these trails. Just be sure to take your pet’s leash!
Shopping. While there are no stores right at the complex – and really, I think its better this way. Stores in your backyard can be a good thing, but me, I’d rather drive 5 minutes.
And here, you are a two to five minute drive away from a nicely remodeled grocery store and plenty of excellent dining options.
Have a thirst? Check out one of the world-renowned breweries or tour the Celestial Seasonings facility and stock up on your favorite flavors of tea!
Safety. Many – not all mind you, but many of the condos in this community have garages that attach directly to the condo. This is a nice safety feature especially for elderly and singles.
I know I would feel better with a loved one pulling into an attached garage. Also, makes it a lot easier to bring in the groceries on a snowy Colorado night.
