Are you looking for the perfect Italian grinder loaded with Prosciutto, Coppa and Salame? Perhaps a quick visit to Salvaggio’s is in store for you. The sandwich shop offers multiple locations around town with fresh baked bread and NY attitude. Willing to drive a bit for an amazing Italian deli? Visit my friends at Valentes in Westminster.

Cena – Italian Dinner
A regular on the 5280 Best restaurants list and the winner of the 2013 James Beard Foundation Award is Frasca. This phenomenal Italian hotspot just celebrated its 10th anniversary. Still racking up the awards and still delivering an unbelievable evening of incredible Boulder Italian dining.
Another super popular spot is Carellis of Boulder. I just enjoyed a wonderful afternoon meal with my family at this beloved Boulder Italian dining ristorante. Very popular with the lunch set and serving some of best Spaghetti Carbonara you will find anywhere.
On the north side of Boulder, dine at Bacco Trattoria. This is a less formal dining spot with a wonderful atmosphere and delicious food – a hallmark of fine Boulder Italian dining.
I Love Pizza For Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Its true, pizza is delicious hot or cold, fresh or out of the fridge. I’m not a big fan of frozen, but I’ll eat it in a jam. Boulder offers some fantastic pizzerias. Most are angling for the best NY style slice of pizza. However, Pizzeria Locale is one of several claiming to be all about Italian pizza.
Variety of Boulder Italian Dining Options
Laudisio was once a fixed location restaurant, but these days operates as staple at street fairs and the Boulder Farmer’s Market. Amante Coffee focuses on Italian coffee and serves up a very European vibe. Popular with the cycling crowd, it was a natural gathering hot spot for World Cup enthusiasts. Seeking gluten free pizza, a friendly scene and open kitchen? Five minutes outside of town is Parma Trattoria in Louisville. Wonderful eatery located by Home Depot and Lowe’s. For finer fair around the county of Boulder Italian dining try Pinocchio in Lafayette and Longmont and Zucca in Louisville.
