Boulder Library Architectural Gem
The Boulder Library is an architectural gem in the City of Boulder. The library sits along the Boulder Creek Path and is walking distance to downtown. The main branch of the library spans Boulder Creek. Numerous additional locations are scattered about Boulder. Public Internet Access
While at the Boulder Library you can access the internet (wifi) with your own laptop or sign on with one of the many computers in the library free of charge. The library is beautiful inside and out, covering multiple levels – some accessed by an elevator or grand sweeping staircase. There is even a pedestrian bridge (enclosed) from one side of Boulder Creek to the other. Complimentary three hour parking is available for patrons and there is an overnight book return box outside the library.
Downtown Boulder Colorado
During Spring and Summer, you can often see tubing enthusiasts lazily drifting by in the creek. Year round the bike path is filled with joggers, skate boarders, walkers, cyclists, and roller blade enthusiasts. There is plenty to explore around the library. Access to CU, downtown and Pearl Street is very easy from the library. Hungry for a snack? Walk across the street to Alfalfas. Want to tube the river? The gas station at the corner of Arapahoe and Broadway has a brisk business filling and selling oversized tubes ideal for a hot day cooling off on the creek.
Complimentary Services @ Boulder Library
There is complimentary Notary service available (303-441-3106). Promotion of local artists, authors and more to the greater community. Programming events include the film society, storytelling and a concert series. There is even a program offered to help folks learn to read. As part of the Boulder library, you can check out video tapes and DVD’s, CD’s, books, e-books and peruse magazines and newspapers. There is an entire section dedicated to children and even an aquarium that highlights life in Boulder Creek.
