Nestled in the Centennial Trail neighborhood is one of those little things that make Boulder so special. An unexpected perk.  The Boulder Rock Park is an amazing play area.  Pre-dating McDonald’s love affair with kiddy play areas, this iconic park is, well, an amazing play structure.

There are numerous routes for youngsters to climb up, down, over and around in the Boulder Rock Park.  A concrete retaining wall sits at the base. Everywhere else, it appears to be a mix of concrete and Flagstone.   Many of the little pathways are kid-sized at best.  Adults: enter at your own risk.

Am I even calling it by name? Boulder rock park just sounds right. My clients tell me they call it by the same name and their children love playing on it.  To get there, head north along the park space behind Eisenhower Elementary school by foot. Or from Merritt Drive head west on Forsythe or Ellsworth Place.  There is parking at the ends of each street. The park area is just across from Ellsworth.  A covered picnic table, a spinning carousel, a play structure and the wonderful Boulder Rock Park.
