Favorite Boulder Hotspot
Brasserie 1010 is a favorite for a great meal out. Easy to understand why: excellent food, top notch service and a clean, sharp decor all come together for a wonderful meal. The prices are not so staggering and the portions will fill you up. We have our favorites on the menu and continue to try new and amazing dishes for dinner. Brasserie 1010 serves lunch, weekend brunch and dinner. It is located just off of Pearl Street, across the street from The Med (same ownership group). A handy pathway takes you directly back to the Pearl Street Mall. Next door is a great costume shop which also boasts a funny greeting card collection. And just across the street is the St Julie Hotel and Spa.
Brasserie Ten Ten Ambiance
Everything feels so far away. The small tiles inlaid on the floor, the beautiful wood bar, fresh flower arrangements that are deserving of a wedding all bespeak of the fine dining experience. The wait staff is dressed sharply and all have an excellent knowledge of the menu. Menus at Brasserie 1010 are big, in a creamy off-white with blue lettering that sounds like French translated as your eyes seek out dinner.
White linens and paper add to the effect. Enjoy a meal outside on the sidewalk cafe or indoors in the bustling restaurant. A partial view into the kitchen and food prep line is entertaining, as are your fellow diners. Everything from families to couples dating. Lunch time Brasserie 1010 fills up with the business crowd.
Steaks And Seafood
Brasserie Ten Ten has a fantastic steak and seafood selection. I’ve enjoyed just about everything on the menu, so I know. The hanger steaks and frites – fancy for french fries – are fantastic. Select one of several sauces to add character and Parisian flavors to your dinner. Or, try the bouillabaisse. Loaded with shell fish and accompanied by delectable garlic bread. Speaking of bread, as our salads arrived, so did a basket of French bread and butter. Something about the butter served at Brasserie Ten Ten is amazingly difficult to resist.
Desserts, Coffees and Gorgeous Bar
Alas, I’m not the guy to tell you about the wine selection (over 2 decades in sobriety). But there is an amazing selection on the menu and beautifully stored inside the dining area. The bar is big, along one wall with ample seating. Polished wood rises to the ceiling and there is a great saloon style mirror. Combined with the tile floors, it feels very much like a bit of France.
When it comes to dessert, I only know my favorite dessert ever is served here. A warm sticky date cake, with Kahlua ice cream and all drizzled in caramel sauce. It is really amazing. Sometimes for date night, Julie and I will swing by Brasserie 1010 to enjoy a French Press and desserts over candle light.

This place looks like it would fit nicely here. So, I’m guessing I’d also feel right at home in Boulder and you’d feel the same way in Napa.
