Broomfield Sunridge

Boulder Open Space

Spending some time this week in a delightful community perched above Boulder County Open Space.  It is the Broomfield Sunridge subdivision.   Delightful community with wonderful floor plans, easy access and walking distance to trails.  There are so many miles of trails accessible right from this location.  Hike or bike to Lafayette, Broomfield or beyond, all with amazing vistas.

The Community At Broomfield Sunridge

The Broomfield Sunridge community consists of condos in a townhouse layout.  There are garages, owners have a right of use, not ownership, of the garages.  Decks are maintained by the Broomfield Sunridge Home Owners Association unless the owner takes over the deck in which case the owner becomes responsible for all upkeep.   Are you buying at the community?  Be certain to find out if the previous owner took responsibility or not.

Broomfield Sunridge offers some spectacular views from the units backing to the Carolyn Holmberg Preserve at Rock Creek Farm open space.  Other units have a nice view of a pond or back to green areas incorporated into the community.  Residents can enjoy a private swimming pool Memorial Day to Labor Day – included in the Broomfield Sunridge HOA fee.

Commuter Friendly Location

The neighborhood is located 5 minutes from Hwy 36. For those looking to get to Boulder or NW Denver, it’s about a fifteen minutes highway drive in either direction. You can also shoot up Hwy 287 to Lafayette in under ten minutes, or Longmont Colorado in less than thirty.

Interlocken is located just on the other side of Thirty Six. So is the Flatirons Crossing Mall. Of course, you don’t have to drive far for food. There is a Starbucks, Abo’s Pizza and a collection of fast food joints between Broomfield Sunridge subd and Hwy 36. You are fairly close to my favorite breakfast burrito spot, Jus’ Burritos. Be sure to check it out if you like a good breakfast burrito.
