Tucked away in an unlikely location alongside Williams Village, the freshman dorms at University Colorado Boulder, you’ll find Carelli’s. This is one special Italian restaurant. And it is not a student hang out, so Boulder residents should dress up a notch to business casual or better.
Sumptuous Italian
Carelli’s is beautiful Italian food. Most every order is served with tasty garlic bread. Tables are elegant with with white linens and a fire merrily roars in the center of room. The fire place has the vibe of something you might see in a ski resort – a circular glass enclosed fire pit warming the space. Booths line one wall, a respectable wine collection is both art and enticing. Carelli’s sports a partially open kitchen, so take a moment to watch your meal being prepared.
Business lunch and destination dinner
Lunch or dinner, Carelli’s is a destination. Most days, this Boulder Colorado hotspot fills up with business people doing lunch. It is a sharp place to impress clients. Evenings, dinner is trendy. This is Boulder, so show up in jeans if you want or take a moment to wear something more special. You’ll fit in either way at Carelli’s of Boulder. The menus for lunch and dinner are reasonable. The menu offers wood fired pizza, pastas and second courses, a gluten free option and wonderful deserts. Enjoy a fabulous wine selection all while being pampered. One of my favorite spots for a business lunch with a client.
