Nothing like a great roasted coffee. And Boulder loves it coffee beans, with a wide medley of shops around town. Just about every part of town offers unique coffee. Here are the six best shops around town.
Coffee Shops Around South Boulder
Ques: This a family owned and operated coffee shop. There is also a location in Southwest Longmont – guess they really like the south part of towns!
Caffe Sole: Be sure to try the signature Caffe Sole Macchiato. This is tidy drink will energize you for the remainder of the day. This coffee shop also offers a wide selection of delicious food and even serves dinner.
Central Boulder Espresso
Great coffee in mid town as well as down at Ozo Coffee. This is a great shop. The coffee beans are procured through Fair Trade agreements with growers in South and Central America. The beans are roasted in the USA. Fantastic coffee with a rich aroma. Read more here.
Feels like the center of town when you arrive at Boulder Flatiron Coffee. This one is located at 28t and Arapahoe. Quiet inside with plenty of seating. On the outdoor patio, enjoy stunning mountain views. Hungry? TIP: next door is Larkburger, fantastic hamburgers!!
I’ve blogged on a variety of downtown coffee shops. Best to check out these blogs:
Looking for a quick recommendation ? One of my favorites is The Laughing Goat. Great vibe, from the moment you place your order to the Barista that will decorate your coffee drink to the wide open seating area in the back. This place brings in live music and poetry as well. Great #BoulderColorado vibe.
Be sure to check out Italian Amante Coffee. With locations all around Boulder, (Baseline & 36, Downtown and on North Broadway) this shop is really everywhere. But I always think of the North Boulder location with its crowd of #cyclists ready to ride the roads on any beautiful day. Next door is Bacco Italian – love food like I do? Check out my post on the best Italian around Boulder now!
BTW, are you in the Gunbarrel area? Be sure to check out Tod’s Espresso. Easy shop to fall in love with. Free WiFi, plenty of seating, bright and open with a great selection of cold drinks and delicious snacks.
Oh, we do have Starbucks. They are everywhere. I’m focusing this post on craft espresso shops. And we also have Dunkin Donuts now up on the northside of town near my favorite comic book shop!!
