March Madness for Colorado college basketball fans

The University of Colorado’s basketball teams have the fans excited this Spring. And not to be outdone, the Colorado State University team is playing exceptional ball as well.  If you love basketball, Colorado is the place to be this Spring. We’re talking NCAA out here.

CU Boulder offers a plethora of great sports to watch.  Though our football program has seen better days, our basketball programs are excelling under fantastic coaching.  Tad Boyle has made a major impact on Buffs basketball. Prior to his hire, CU had had a total of four seasons with twenty or more wins.  This is the third season Tad Boyle has delivered 20 or more wins.  Makes for great basketball.

The Colorado Buffs are playing inspired ball and the fans in Boulder love it.  Get to a game if you can find the tickets.  Meanwhile, the women’s team is no easier to see live.  Coach Linda Lappe; her team is a solid Number 18 ranking in the USA.

Rounding out local ball, Denver State University made the front of the Denver Post’s sports section today.  The team destroyed Louisiana Tech 78-54.  This has three Colorado schools – DSU, CU and CSU all heading to tournaments in Las Vegas.

Like I said, it’s a pretty good time to be watching Colorado college basketball.

  1. Gotta love college basketball. I’m glad to hear the Colorado teams are doing well; maybe one of them (maybe both) will make it to the higher levels at the NCAA tourney this year.

I hear Bolder Colorado real estate is hot too. We were in Denver last year for a meeting at RE/MAX HQ and got to explore the area some; very pretty.
