Martin Acres is a wonderful community of single family homes tucked into the center of Boulder. The community is visible along Hwy 36 as you enter town. The neighborhood is bordered by Table Mesa Drive to the south, Broadway to the west, Baseline to the north and Highway 36 to the East. There is a neighborhood post office on the south side, excellent shopping options along Baseline including a mini-Whole Foods. Several community access paths exist to the ever popular Boulder Bike Path and many homes have private gates onto the Boulder Creek path as well.
Martin Acres got its start following World War II, when Boulder experienced a boom. With the creation of the Boulder Turnpike (now Hwy 36), Martin Acres was the perfect answer to the postwar baby boom. Today, you’ll find an excellent selection of ranch, bi-level and multilevel homes. Some owners are starting to pop the tops of their homes to create more space. Homes along the western edge of the community have nice views across the NIST campus. RTD provides bus service and there are designated bike lanes.
