Boulder Greek Connection

I have a soft spot for Greek organizations doing wonderful charitable work. Kathleen Jefferies, ΔΖ, founding president of the Boulder Area Alumnae Panhellenic, and chairwoman of this year’s Santa’s House tells me the event is a success, “due to the dedication of 150 volunteers every year.”

Santa’s House is the philanthropy/community service project of the Boulder Area Alumnae Panhellenic (BAAP) members are the women who make it happen.   A big thanks to the women of the Pi Beta Phi Sorority on the University of Colorado (CU Boulder) for the use of their House.  It’s part of what allows for this wonderful annual tradition: Santa’s House.   It’s all about children.  Giving back to our community and raising funds for the future.

Benefiting Charities Such As EFAA and Imagine!

Kathleen and Sherri, a members of the Boulder Area Alum Panhellenic (BAAP) group spoke with me via email about this year’s Santa’s House.   This tradition is forty five years old this year.  That’s really something.  A testament to generations of women giving back to our community!

EFAA, Emergency Family Assistance Association, provides a safety net for families that can no longer meet their basic needs.  And Imagine! Provides support services to people with developmental and cognitive disabilities including autism, cerebral palsy and Down Syndrome
