Fired Up On Real Estate
Well, I’m excited. Spent the day Wednesday learning all about the latest greatest ideas to use in real estate. Inman news agent reboot is a neat event. Fast paced and filled with information for selling homes in the digital era. Lots of solid technology ideas that I hope to incorporate into my professional life.
Social media and online technology is something I’m learning more and more about. Turns out, Americans love to be online.
The most recent surveys suggest 72% of US adult population or 248,093,716 citizens are online and using social media.
So much opportunity, so where should I start? The Inman news agent reboot pointed out, wisely, just starting is important. I’m already writing a blog, but there is so much more I can do. I’m excited to implement some of the ideas I learned today: writing e-Books, creating more pages of content and expanding the sites on which I promote my blog.
My goal? To be the best possible resource to you!
Action Packed Presentations At Inman News Agent Reboot
Marci James from Obeo and Stacie Staub with Live Urban were two local presenters who got things rolling at today’s Inman News agent reboot. These two ladies, were, imho, two of the best presenters. Honestly, it was tough to keep up with each speaker. I grabbed lots of great ideas to put into place in real estate, including:
- The last speaker highlighted in a graph the state of the Denver metro market. Big takeaway? Denver is 5 years past the market low, well into the recovery.
- Pinterest is one of the hottest places to post content. So I’ll be taking and sharing more pictures. And would enjoy hearing about your boards.
- Video is popular. I need to work more on this. Well, on that note, I’m attaching a video to this post.
What sites do you enjoy using for real estate? I learned about some great places to view and post photographs including Houzz and instagram. I’m also hoping to create some VINE 8 second videos in the near future.
