The idea behind the store is packaging. Eighty percent of what Trader Joes sells is private label. If you are seeking brand names, your best bet is one of the myriad other grocery chains in Boulder. With four hundred stores in thirty seven states, Trader Joes has a strong and loyal fan base.
In fact, it is partially due to Facebook fan pages, petitions and constant wish lists of locals that Boulder Trader Joes has finally arrived. Today there are several locations opening with a few more planned for the Front Range.

Customers will be thrilled with 14,000 square feet of goodies to select from. Nine checkout stands will hum from 8 am to 9 pm daily – the store’s hours. Inside, a sea motif is easily visible starting with the oars that adorn checkout stands. Several walls are painted with murals and these tie into Boulder as well.
