Delicious. Tasty. Hot. Fresh. Not Your Usual Sandwich. Porch Deli.
All of the above jump to mind as I’m sitting in Porch Deli enjoying a great sub. I’ve seen the spot on the corner in Louisville several times and never thought to step inside. I figure, “ah, it’s just another local deli.”
This is not the case. Based upon my solo stop to Porch Deli in Louisville, I know this place is special and I’m looking forward to a good excuse to go back (i.e. do you want to go to lunch?).

As I walked up to the front door I asked the couple on the porch what they suggest for lunch. In unison, “they suggested the special of the day, The Cubanwich. Now, I’ve had this style of sandwich on other occasions and it is generally good. Both pork and ham, with a pickle on a sub roll. The Porch Deli Market makes their sandwich special. I was craving every bite. The entire sandwich was hot – not just warmed under a baking element, but truly hot. The cheese was thoroughly melted and the slab of pickle offered a contrast to the delicious meats. I’m definitely going back and suggest you visit this Louisville eatery. You’ll be happy to find The Porch Deli Market in Louisville.

The Porch Deli serves up great food breakfast lunch and dinner. They even cater events. What you need to know: The Porch Deli is located at 641 Main Street – on the popular corner of Main and Pine Streets. It is kitty corner to Huckleberry. Phone is 303-604-0999 and here is their website. Get your Reuben fix or try a Jersey Joe. You know my favorite: the Cubanwich.
